Dinh Quan was born in Hai Phong, Vietnam in 1964. He started to paint from very early age, studied in College of Fine Arts from 1985 and graduated in 1990. Dinh Quan specializes in lacquer and is master of this material. At present, he is considered an outstanding and irreplaceable face of Vietnam Lacquer Art. He is constantly experimenting with new and more complex techniques. Quan is a member of the Vietnamese Plastics Art Association.
