1934:           Born in Vinh Yen,Vietnam

                   Graduated from Hanoi College of Fine Arts.

1937:           Attended a revolutionary youth programme in Tay Bac - Northwest Vietnam

1957:           Entered Hanoi Fine Arts University .

1963:           Graduated from Hanoi Fine Arts University 

                   Started career as a professional artist making woodblock prints

Presently:    Member of the Vietnamese Fine Art Association

                   Specialized in wood cut paintings and lacquer paintings.




1972 -1990:  Annual International Graphic Exhibition in Germany, Slovakia,      

                   Rumani Poland and Norway                    

                   Took part in cultural exchange events in USA, Japan and Korea, organized by Vietnam

                   Fine Art Association.

 1985:         National Graphic Exhibition, Hanoi              

                  Won First Prize with “A Mountain Class”, woodblock print

1990:          National Fine Art Exhibition, Hanoi

                  Won Gold Medal with "Fighting Drainage", Lacquer painting.

2003:          Solo Exhibition, Hanoi, Vietnam.

2004:          National Exhibition of Military Art, Army Museum, Hanoi

2006           “At the Height of Summer”, Zee Stone Gallery, Hong Kong

                  Solo Exhibition in Hong Kong




                   1st prize for Graphic Fine Art in 1975 – 1985.

                   1st prize for wooden cut painting.

                   1st prize for lacquer painting.

                   Golden prize in National Fine Arts Exhibition in 1990.

                   “Lop hoc mien  nui – The Class at mountainous Village” – Lacquer on wood (120 x 200 cm) 1991.
